Yes, you may now salute 2nd Lieutenant Andrew Hutchison. He was officially commissioned into the Air Force a couple of weeks ago. The Air Force pays for our tuition for 3 years, and in turn Andrew owes them 3 years as a dentist on one of their bases. Not a bad deal eh? Not so much debt for us and Andrew gets a little experience before he is sent out into the real world. Even though they don't make this first commissioning a huge deal, it was really cool to see Andrew inducted into the Air Force. Basically he to promised to defend and support the Constitution of the United States of America. It was impressive and made me feel very patriotic. I'm proud to have my own fly boy. And who doesn't love a man in uniform? (Unfortunately he won't get that uniform until after graduation.)

Congrats Andrew. That's really cool. It's also an appropriate post for today.
Haha...maybe a few of us will get lucky and end up on the same base!
That is so cool Andrew is doing the Air Force!! What an awesome deal!
Congrats!
Do we have to stop calling him Hutch now? Like is it Lt. Dentist Hutch or something?
Way to go Hutch! That's pretty cool. I wish I could have been there to see it myself.
That is so COOL, i will have to salute Andrew the next time I see him...it that what you do when you meet an officer?? You'll get to live all over the US when you graduate...maybe you'll end up in San Jose for a little while?
Hey way to go Andrew! That's awesome that you are official.
Katie, you're so cute, you make me laugh. How exciting for you guys. Tell Andrew congrats on getting in!
Congrats to Andrew! That is so awesome for him. And I agree - a guy in uniform is hard to resist, especially when he's your very own guy!!
SO exciting! Congrats!!!! What an awesome job!
Congrats! That's so awesome! I wish we could have done something like that, but it just seems riskier to be a doctor entering the military. Ya know? Anyway, sounds like a sweet deal!
That's so cool! He'll make a great Air Force dentist!
Congrats Andrew. I guess you decided to copy me. Good luck.
