Christmas Break/Disneyland

I know folks, I have been terrible at blogging. Even Andrew has told me I should blog more-what? I do post on Instagram and Facebook occasionally. But we really haven't been doing that much, and I haven't seen a picture in about a year of me looking decent. Maybe I need a haircut and to stop wearing a pony tail every day.
Anyway, we finally did something and we drove to Utah for Christmas! We left the day of a big snow storm, so we took the long way, which added on about 5 hours of driving, but that's much better than sliding off the road or spending the night in your car.
We had a wonderful Christmas with Andrew's family and also got to see my older brother and 1 of my sisters and her fam. The other 3 sibs went to Russia to be with my parents for Christmas. So it was kind of sad to not be able to be with all of my family, but we did get to skype a couple of times. The perk of only having one set of parents around was that we didn't have to keep packing up and staying all over. It was so nice to be able to stay in one place, and so nice to be surrounded with family.  The Hutchisons completely spoiled us all break long, and we had so much fun. We ate our little hearts out and feel like we doubled in size (let the pregnancy pounds really begin!) Andrew and I got to see THREE movies in the theatre. We saw The Hobbit, Les Mis, and Lincoln. We honestly loved them all (I had a harder time with Lincoln, so much dialogue which is tough for an old lady like me who always needs subtitles to understand what is going on.  All Charlie wanted from Santa was "Luigi and the Guido-they so funny"(Some Disney/Pixar Cars characters). He would say that every time we asked. Santa pulled through and got Charlie exactly what he wanted.

Nativity with Hutchisons

Cutest little shepherd

Don't worry, he has his pouch full of cars

It was pretty much impossible to get a photo of the whole cast. We tried.

Charlie has been dying to make a snow angel for weeks. He read about it in a book, and he even practiced on our wood floors. His practice paid off.

Charlie was in heaven playing in the snow with Daddy. They are such cute little buddies.

Christmas morning

To end our Christmas break, we headed to Disneyland with Andrew's family. It was so fun, and we loved seeing Charlie's reactions to everything. He was in heaven, but pretty much every ride was "so scary". I guess there are some scary elements in almost every ride, and it's a lot of stimulation overload. He loved Dumbo, and the Tea Cups, Mater's Junkyard Jamboree-by the way, Cars Land was awesome. It was so cute the way they set everything up to look just like the main street in Radiator Springs. Charlie kept asking who lived in each building.
With Aunt Emmy before he freaked out and had to leave.  Everyone forgot how scary the Bug's Life is.

Grace is the sweetest cousin ever and took great care of Charlie

"Cheese"

Surprisingly Charlie LOVED Mickey and gave him a huge hug. He could not get enough of him.
He also had to give McQueen a hug. This boy loves his Cars.

Twinner Cousins waiting for the train

Nana got him his first set of ears. Thank you Nana Deb!

Charlie sure knew how to relax at the end of the day.
